We are up to week 5 on blogging through the Friendship Church Values. This week, Non-threatening, friendly service. This is huge for me because I believe unfriendly Christians is one of the biggest road blocks in people following Jesus. When we offer a handshake instead of the stink-eye we gain an ear, some respect, of those we want to listen to the Gospel. Yes, the Gospel is offensive, but does that mean we have to be rude, snooty, and condemning?
This week, ask yourself how “friendly” your interactions are with those that are different from you.
